Bones Lyrics

Danny Michel

They're hoarding gas in the coffee cans,
they're pairing off and joining hands.
They're gonna try and make a stand without your love.
The lava flow and tidal waves,
there's nothing here we couldn't brave.
There's nothing you could throw away,
we couldn't love.
So you take the sun and I'll take mars,
I'll take this gun and shoot out all the stars.
You drain the seas and I'll smash the sky,
we'll leave them nothing but the bones behind.
But now my skies have opened up,
when I can't believe my luck.
Sure enough our time is up and out of love.
I never want to hurt you girl.
I'll be the sand, you be the pearl.
And I could live without this world, but not your love.
This Glacier is sliding, 2 mantels colliding.
A new world undiscovered, the lost iceman uncovered.
Two hearts dividing, 4 eyes stop crying.
This iceman dissolving, moi mojo evolving.
So you take the sun and I'll take mars,
I'll take this gun and shoot out all the stars.
So you clear the trees and I'll mount their heads,
we'll leave them nothing but bones behind.
