Would You Buy A Frame? Lyrics

Danny Michel

Here she comes my big reward,
hear her strum the biggest chord in my chest.
See her tame the mighty shores with one caress.
What if I write your name on the club marquee,
would you buy a frame and fill it with me?
She rifles through the lost and found,
she lays on my chest in the rain when I'm down.
She makes the best soup in town,
and the sweetest little sounds.
What if I carve your name in the chestnut tree?
Would you buy a frame and fill it with me?
She told me she had no sisters or brothers,
and no recollection of dads and mothers.
Just and empty hole where no-good lovers once lived,
you-will-love-again.
Here she comes my big reward,
hear her strum the biggest chord in my chest,
if I could somehow tape or record her sweet caress.
